Chip Wagner’s 2016 $74M sale to a competitor.
April 19 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm| $20 - $75
Hear Chip Wagner, CEO of the Addison-based IT consulting firm Alsbridge tell about their acquisition by a top competitor, Information Services Group, for $74 million. ISG will pay $56 million in cash, $11 million in stock and a $7 million seller’s note. Alsbridge management will get most of their consideration in the form of stock.
In 2014, Alsbridge employed 280 globally, with 40 of them based at the 14,00-square-foot space in Addison. Alsbridge moved its headquarters from Uptown in 2015.
The acquisition grows ISG’s global presence by about 20 percent to 1,300 employees. ISG and Alsbridge say the merger is a combination of two complementary companies, combining “ISG research, digital, sourcing and managed services with Alsbridge network carrier services, robotic process automation and incremental sourcing advisory capabilities.”
